#23: Why is it so hard to find a nice address book that has all the little fill-in-the-blank sections that you want? Is it really that hard for them to make these things? I'm starting to think that maybe I should just design my own and make one instead of wasting all my time running around trying to find the 'perfect' book.

#24: Every time I go home, I check on my two orchid plants. And each time, I see that a new leaf has sprung out, or a leaf as grown bigger. It makes me happy to think that maybe I'm not such an orchid-killer after all. But maybe I should find out what the signs of a healthy orchid are before I go ahead and say that I've completed this goal.

#27: Just like the address book, I couldn't find one that suited my needs so I'm just going to grab my blank sketch book (and hope that it has 366 pages) and make a nice felt cover for it... and then title each page with a day of the year. Hopefully it'll turn out the way I picture it in my head. Now, I just need to find the time. Ugh.

#30: I'm pretty pleased with how fast my hair is growing out. It's getting out of that hard-to-manage phase. Sometimes I wake up and my hair is nice and neat and that makes me happy.

#34: I'm quite annoyed because no matter how much brisk walking I do, it doesn't seem to be budging. I'm even on a more regular sleep schedule and eating a little more healthy too. What does it take?!

#35: I'm making a more conscious effort to pay attention to my posture when I'm sitting at a desk. Also, I'm doing more stretching when I have a free moment. Like the other day, Jay and I were trying out supposed yoga poses and stuff like that. It was fun.. and stretching feel sooooo good, especially since all my muscles have been so tight from walking so much lately.

#36: Screwed up again last night - totally wasn't my fault though. We had caramel fondue and by the time we got all our stuff ready for today, it was sooo late. Oh well, just means I'm going to spend more nights trying to sleep earlier. I'm trying to get myself on a schedule so I'll be more used to sleeping earlier and getting more work done at a reasonable hour.

#41: The other day, someone ate a huge Twix bar and they made it sound sooo good. And then at soccer practice, the coach always talks about King Sized Mars bars - apparently that's their big reward thing. And Hallowe'en is just around the corner. Waaaaah I want to eat a big chocolate bar!

#66: Just for my own record - "Christmas-y cookies", rice crispie squares, roast lamb, caramel fondue, bellini, veggie soup

#88: I picked up a box today since we went to Andrew's church and they had a whole stack sitting there. I figure I should get started now or it'll be like all those other years where I intend on getting one done but it doesn't happen. Maybe I can share some of little guy's toys with them because he hasn't played with a lot of them and they're just sitting in boxes in my closet (taking up precious space!).
