#23: Collecting addresses for wedding invitations really helps me with filling my hypothetical address book. I really gotta start convincing myself harder to get that one. If I don't find a cheaper one in HK that I absolutely love, I will probably have to buy the one I mentioned before as a birthday present to myself (I'm such a sad case).

#24: I still can't figure out how to make them grow flowers! Every time I go home, I see that they've sprouted a new leaf or that the leaves have grown bigger, but no flowers! We were watching Chuck and Larry today when I pointed out that the lawyer girl had an orchid in her apartment. Andrew then said something about how he rarely sees orchids with flowers anymore.. blah blah blah.

#34: All these cookies I've baked this past week (oh, about 5 batches) will not help this goal out one bit. But, hopefully walking around HK will make up for it.

#41: in less than 3 hours, I'll be able to eat candies and chocolates again! I almost ate one a couple hours ago when I thought it was the 17th today. Good thing I had a conversation with Andrew and said "I'm going to eat chocolate now because it's the 17th" which prompted me to check to make sure. So close! I wouldn't want to screw it up now.

#57: I finally started the Penelopiad (or something like that) that Hannah recommended to me. I got tired on the bus and took a nap a few pages in and now I can't remember where I placed it (but I definitely took it off of the bus). I'll find it, don't you worry, Hannah.

#66: The lemon white chocolate chunk cookies did not turn out anywhere close to what I thought they would be like but at least they don't suck - my sister really loves them and they taste really nice with a cup of hot tea (orange pekoe preferably). Recap - rice crispy squares, failed Christmas cookies, good Christmas cookies, roasted lamb, veggie soup, caramel fondue, blueberry pancakes, bellini, lemon cookies

#67: Packing my bags and boarding a plane within the week! I'm so excited and anxious about flying (Nathan's gonna be a handful for sure).

#75: This upcoming trip's gonna do it.

#76: Has anyone seen the going rate for having your picture taken with the obese man dressed up in a red suit?! It's ridiculous! I'm so glad Nathan's not at the age where he begs to have his picture taken with that guy yet because I walked by the other day and it's absolutely insane! Andrew'll have to dress up one year.
