#13: We finally got a family game night tucked into our busy schedules. It almost didn't happen though. While we were busy setting up the table for a game of Monopoly, my dad was watching a James Taylor concert on TV (one of his favourites) and it was almost impossible to pry him away. But it ended just in time for us to start our game. I forgot how funny it was to hear everyone's reactions in Chinese. Just the way we interact is humorous.

N was a little irritated because he wasn't the centre of attention so he started grabbing the money out of the bank and handed it out to each player. Our game ended prematurely because it was getting late and we all had church the next morning so we all tallied up our profits. And the winner? My dad of course. You'd think after all these years of not playing, we would have figured out some way to beat him. But no. He has a sort of reckless style when he plays, sort of like a certain someone I know who, according to his former co-workers, plays like a terrorist. I'm glad we got to fit this in because my parents are headed off to Asia this week and we won't be seeing them until the end of the month!
